Naomi is a friend I’ve known for many years. She’s a fascinating person with a deep passion for the ocean — especially surfing. For a long time, I had wanted to create a short portrait of her, and in 2023, I finally made it happen. I traveled to the farm where she lives and stayed with her family while filming the documentary. It was a really fun and rewarding production experience.
